I wasn’t at all what you’d call spiritual, though - it was a very practical sense of it and I was on the atheist side of agnostic. But, through this healing journey my sense of how we are connected to the Earth and each other was elevated from that mechanical view. I started to be able to feel the consciousness of Nature and the energy that runs through everything around us, to understand that there’s more to this world than what we’re taught to see and everything and everybody is connected, all One.
